He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN) and the Institute of Investment Management and Research (IIMR). He is currently taking professional examinations in stock broking.
Due to his relatively strong background in economics and finance, Michael has demonstrated rare capabilities in his career as an analyst. He garnered investment banking experience (focussing on investment management and research) for four years before moving to one of the leading banks in Nigeria with a global footprint, the United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC. He currently runs the Investor Relations unit of the bank.
Michael loves listening to music, watching movies and playing soccer at leisure. He is a Christian, whose origin or tribe is referred to as “Igbo” in Nigeria and he speaks two local languages (Igbo and Yoruba) fluently, while he speaks and writes English Language very well.
